To Catch A Killer: More Images That Reveal The Culture Of Those Who Were There When Phylicia Barnes Went Missing

Warning: Blog Post contains nudity and images unsuitable for children, and also maybe offensive to viewers.

When I interviewed Janice Sallis-Mustafa regarding the tragic murder of her late daughter Phylicia Barnes, she shared with me the horrible thoughts that played over and over again in her mind what may have happened to her child. One of those thoughts was Phylicia possibly being lured to Baltimore and sacrificed for a drug debt by sex crazed drug dealers. She was concerned that the volume of young men in and out of Deena Barnes’ apartment probably was related to drug solicitation by some of those we have learned were actually living there. Images posted in a previous Blog entry show the Johnson clan engaged in a party like atmosphere with booze and marijuana, but up until now there hasn’t been anything to substantiate drug dealing. We continuously saw William “Krazy” Johnson with cigar leafs and others smoking blunts as they posed for pictures. On William Johnson’s “xChill xWillx” Twitter page we see that perhaps the drug solicitation theory isn’t without merit. Clearly there is marijuana packaged for distribution along side boxes of cheap cigars and a laptop:

Bags of suspected marijuana individually packaged for distribution and cigars. The caption under the image on Twitter reads, "Time to get High".

An image displaying about 20-30 grams of suspected marijuana with an individual Swisher sweets Cigar tube, and a smaller portion of the illegal drug depicting preparation to roll up a blunt.

These images posted on Krazy’s Twitter Page doesn’t necessarily mean he was in fact engaged in drug solicitation, but common sense confirms that he at the very least had access to a volume of the drug.  Krazy, his relative, and others were a fixture around Deena Barnes’ apartment and it’s safe to say given the public display of their “pot head” culture, that marijuana also accompanied them. We are all aware of the negativities associated with drug usage and solicitation, as well as the violence that historically has been associated with those involved in narcotics. The drug and alcohol atmosphere that young Phylicia Barnes was exposed to created an ideal situation for violence to rear it’s ugly head and unfortunately resulted in the child’s death. The pictures also demonstrates a bold, careless, and arrogant disregard for the law by Krazy, who apparently is fearless of any potential criminal repercussions related to his public display of illegal drug possession. It’s the very nature of this kind of  ignorance or irregard for the law that suggest Krazy and the entire Johnson clan alike, are capable of just about anything.

Also, back in early July media reports surfaced that Federal Authorities were looking into a possible “child porn” link in this murder case. It was revealed that a volume of pornographic images were discovered during the investigation. There also rumors floating around that pornographic images were discovered on the cell phone of one of the men who was either at the apartment or lived there around the time Phylicia went missing. The below image demonstrates that the individual who may have had nude photos on his cell phone probably was William “Krazy” Johnson:

A nude cell phone image posted on William "Krazy" Johnson's Twitter page. The caption reads, "I took the pic, and the whip cream, and I left".

The image speaks volumes for itself, and gives credibility to a perspective that Janice Sallis-Mustafa theorized may have been a associated with her daughter’s killing. Janice’ “sex crazed drug dealers” theory can only gain fuel when considering the above images. I believe the grieving mom’s argument has been substantiated here, and has  proved her not to be the biter, crazy, lieing, and unstable woman that some have relentlessly attempted to describe her as. Sometimes a mother  just knows some things and I believe Janice hit the nail right on it’s head on this one.

  1. Buffy The Deadbeat Daddy Slayer says:

    Lord have mercy…..

    • Nicole says:

Have mercy is the correct word! If I’m not mistaking, this looks like Kelly to me! But whoever this is, it is totally out of control!

  2. Fancy says:

I honestly was gonna ask was it possible Phylicia was sacrificed, but I decided not to even go there, until I read the first paragraph and what a coincidence, I am watching blood sacrifice while I am typing, The new generation is so wicked and the world we live in has changed so much anything is possible, one of the students a 6th grader came behind me after work asked for my keys, I looked up he said was you scared would you give them up I said yes without a fight

    • Buffy The Deadbeat Daddy Slayer says:

I had those same thoughts as well. I will say this. A MOTHER KNOWS. I remember mrs. mustafa saying a long time ago while Phylicia was missing that she felt her daughter was being sexually abused and tortured by sex traffikers. Deena its time to stop being a coward and tell what happened and why. You owe that to Phylicia’s mother.

  3. Buffy The Deadbeat Daddy Slayer says:

Is that Kelly FAT ASS Barnes laying in that bed? Smh

    • Nicole says:

And that’s not a bed, that is a pad on the floor, and it is absolutely totally disgusting!

      • Buffy The Deadbeat Daddy Slayer says:

OMG that does look like Kelly Barnes! No wonder she didnt want to place herself at that apartment when she was on the peas in their pods blogtalk radio show. SMDH what kind of freaky shit was going down in that hellhole?! SHAME ON IT ALL!

  4. JFPB says:

Mr. Adams I notice you keep mentioning those of us who prematurely judged Mrs. Sallis Mustafa for her media comments. Yes I am guilty as well because as I have stated watching my mother (a nurse) deal with my baby teen sis tragedy gave me a VERY different perspective. Since my comments, I have learned others might have spoken (written comments because on TV Mrs. Sallis-Mustafa sounded intelligent and grieving) on her behalf and not always articulated their disgust and anger in “media” speak!!!

I will end with this and say after reviewing all these pictures of what went on in that apartment I think I would be in jail right now (this is unspeakable grief to know my child was tossed in a river nude like trash) and that is why the police need to really provide all the man hours necessary to solve this case and allow the Mustafa family to move on (no parent heals from losing a child I promise!!). They can use the notariety to promote other intelligent young ladies pursuing their dreams of an education in Phylicia’s memory!!!

Again my prayers go out to this family from my family!!! RIP Angel……

Deena if I were in your shoes I would honestly leave Maryland and not for safety reasons but knowing my immaturity caused such pain!!!!

    • Nicole says:

I think a lot of people prematurely judged Mrs. Sallis-Mustafa. Putting myself in her shoes, if someone sounded intelligent and like they were doing something with their life, a was a “promising pharmacy tech/nursing student” as was told to her, I would probably be excited as well. I am sure she probably had Phylicia explore the Facebook page in front of her, and of course none of those images were on Deena’s page, because I doubt she would have let Phylicia go to that kind of environment. I would put money on it that she would not have allowed Phylicia to go there.

I am continuing to pray for her and family’s strength, because she evidently has some good faith in God because most people wouldn’t have been able to handle that situation. I’m glad she is a rational thinking person and thinking about her other younger children that needs her as well to spare her from having a murder on her conscious and facing 4 walls for the rest of her life like those others will. We can’t help what others do, but we can help what we do. Thou shall not kill and 2 wrongs will definitely not make it right nor bring Phylicia back.

I am really surprised and shocked at the horrible things that Deena, Kelly, and the rest of the Johnson clan was involved in. I wonder what in the world does Russell have to say about that, especially if that is Kelly lying down nude and blindfolded with the whole State of Maryland lied on somebody’s floor. What in the world do you say to that? I can only begin to imagine the pictures these thugs took of Phylicia and what state of mind that poor child was in. It is absolutely heart breaking and sad. And for anyone to judge or have anything negative to say about this woman, you should go jump into that river yourself.

Let’s all continue to pray for the Sallis-Mustafa family and that justice is rightfully served to all who placed Phylicia in that world of harm and contributed to her dissapperance & murder. In God’s time, Justice for Phylicia Barnes!

    • Nicole says:

She already left baltimore and went to parkville.

      • arrestthosefools says:

Maybe I shouldn’t elaborate on this photo above. Disgraceful and no matter what has been applied to some areas, this photo will forever be distasteful. It is troublesome to view this photo and wonder or imagine what all was taken and done to Phylicia S. Barnes, if they sneak or willingly snap those type of images. Thumbs up to how the blogger, Mr. Adams is allowing things to unfold. Leading and not backing down. Mike typed he is the competitive one out of the bunch. Deena role has been the victim and the rest of them have said F–K OFF! . That’s the young man that tweeted “not anymore”, while speaking of Phylicia’s name & he tweeted he had been on work leave around that time. Arrest those fools.

      • arrestthosefools says:

        “Krazy” Johnson’s Twitter page.

  5. JFPB says:

I wouldn’t say people who judged Mrs. Sallis-Mustafa should go jump in a river themselves because people on the outside looking in sometimes don’t know what the family, police etc. knows. This is what I dislike about posting on “public” boards. People take your words out of context or put “their” meaning to them. Who said Mrs. Sallis-Mustafa had murder on her conscience? I was speaking from PERSONALLY having to deal with severe grief and wanting to seek justice yourself (I bet Beth Holloway had to fight these thoughts as a mother). Anyway the one thing I learned watching my mother fall apart is everyone is entitled to their opinions. Glad there was no social media geesh!

Nice to know all of us want justice for this family and that is what is most important Nicole!!! I see why others always say take a break from social boards. I don’t know how Mrs. Sallis-Mustafa does it. I wouldn’t read any of this personally!!! Guess I’m not that strong as her………

    • Nicole says:

I didnt mean it the way you took it. I dont mean jump in the river. I said Im glad she didnt kill anyone and have a murder on her conscious.

  6. JFPB says:

Oh I apologize because I don’t want anyone to think I’m jumping on Mrs. Sallis Mustafa. This case is so sad and tragic……

  7. JFPB says:

oh I wondered if others saw the Peas in the Pod lady on Nancy Grace last night and wondered if that’s the same site that did Deena’s family interview? Even my daughter finally listened and said that interview made them seem so guilty or part of a cover up…..

    • Nicole says:

Yea that was her. The Barnes interview was totally disgusting. I could not believe they were people who just lost their baby sister, especially in their custody. It was a shame.
